How the ghee is made

Scroll on — the picture follows the jar from butter to your table.

  1. 01

    Butter from the milk belt

It starts with the best of the dairy produce from the milk belt of South India — pure cow butter, and nothing else.

  2. 02

    A slow, gentle flame

The butter is heated gently over a slow flame and left to simmer — four days from butter to jar — until the milk solids turn gold and the aroma fills the room.

  3. 03

    The grain forms itself

Filtered and left to cool at its own pace, the ghee settles into the fine, natural grain that tells you it was never rushed.

  4. 04

    Checked, packed, yours

Tasted and tested at our Perundurai plant, then sealed with a batch number and best-before date — ready for your table.

What does the Agmark grade on your ghee mean?

Agmark is the Government of India’s certification mark for agricultural produce. It confirms that the ghee has been graded against the official standards for purity and quality. Nambisan’s is one of the few producers that works to a standardised process and carries the grade.

Is your honey tested for antibiotics?

Nambisan’s Wildflower Honey is free from antibiotics and is processed and packed in an EIA-certified facility in India.

Do you add preservatives, colours or flavours?

No. The ghee is made from pure cow butter alone, and the honey has no additives, preservatives or added sugar. In the words of our own H.E.A.R.T promise: free from synthetic additives, unadulterated, completely natural.

How can I check that a jar is genuine?

Look for the Nambisan’s roundel, an intact seal, the FSSAI licence number, the batch number and the best-before date on the label. If anything looks wrong, write to info@nambisans.in with a photograph and where you bought it.
